Her reply

It rained cats and dogs the night before hence the weather that morning was still a bit cloudy. As i looked through the window of my room gazing at the skies and trying to predict if it would still rain that morning, i was actually hoping for another downpour. I had nowhere to go that day so I didn't need to worry about the flooded Lagos roads or the traffic that will ensue. For me, it was an avenue to sleep some more and an excuse to laze around throughout the day. As I laid back on the bed to map out a schedule for the day, I felt the need to send her a text. I picked up my phone following my instincts and in about five minutes I had already drafted a message which I sent immediately. Usually, she replies as soon as she reads my text so I didn't think that day was going to be an exception as I eagerly waited for a reply.
